A Poem On Heartbreak

Tears roll down my face,

Cause I’ve lost the one I can’t replace.

The part I couldn’t bare,

was the love that was still there.

Saying “Good morning!” was my joy,

but now I was just a broke and lonely boy.

She was leaving for college to start anew.

I couldn’t stay, I got the shoe.

My best friend gone at the drop of hat,

I was left unhappy with where things sat.

Of course, she had been too.

Had she told me, I would of known what do.

She had made her decision.

And I…was left to deal with the division.

The one thing I had looked forward to,

Gone…gone…that was you.
